The Cemetery Sessions
The Cemetery Sessions is an idea that came to me in the middle of the night while staying at Hank Snow's Rainbow Ranch in Nashville in September 2022. I had been mulling over how we could break into the video medium with something meaningful and unique to our mission of promoting newer artists and paying homage to the Honky Tonk Heroes of days gone by.
I handpicked a group of musicians and showed them a list of famed Honky Tonkers buried in the Nashville area. Each artist chose who they wanted to pay their respects to, performed a cover of a song by that musician, and shared a story. Spending time at each grave site with each of these artists while they shared their stories and craft, was an amazing experience. There was a completely different atmosphere being out in nature and in a place of reflection, and I want to thank them all for their time and the heart they put into this project.
I hope you enjoy The Cemetery Sessions as much as I do.
Thank you for watching!
